About Us
We are an RSO on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus that is passionate about conveying the significance of nutrition in terms of how food can enhance life and prevent disease states. Our group believes that nutrition is a major tool for promoting optimal health. Most of our members are students who are pursuing a health-related profession such as pre-med, pre-physician assistant, pre-physical therapy, pre-pharmacy, nursing, pre-dental, etc.

- Expand nutrition background in order for our members to become more well-rounded healthcare providers and make a difference in the lives of their future patients
- Start off each general meeting with a brief nutrition discussion/commentary
- Reflect on documentaries that examine relevant nutrition topics in our present-day society
- Bring in relevant speakers that are involved in health-related fields (and connect those fields to nutrition!)
- Provide nutrition/health-related volunteering opportunities in the Champaign-Urbana community
- Host social events to foster an enjoyable, supportive network of like-minded individuals
- Professional development for graduate school and beyond
